Hello Families,
Yesterday we... •Learned a little bit about The Life Cycle of a Salmon, the different types of Salmon, and walked over to Coho Park where we got to release thousands of baby Salmon (Fry) into the Stream. It was an amazing experience and awesome weather for our walk. See pictures! • Exploration Time Today we... •Did a directed draw of a Tulip. We outlined the important parts of our sketch, added "scribble" colour with crayon and then filled in all the white parts with water colour paint. The kids now know how to use lots of water and saturate the brush when using this medium. I was so proud to see all of the children work through the process of drawing their Tulips. •Visited the Studio •Enjoyed lots of time in the sunshine, and had a picnic outside at lunch eating time. •Cleaned the classroom so it was sparkly clean for when we return after the break!
